here is a large elegant drawing room, where guests can sit and enjoy tea and cake and pre-dinner drinks. In warm summer days tea is on the terrace and dinner under the vine-covered pergola.

The garden was redesigned in 1985 and is now well established with a large flower garden, orchard and lake. From early spring with the bulbs, camellias and azaleas the colours continue through the summer to autumn.

For the more energetic guests there are many varied walks directly from the house across the adjoining estate, stud farm and woodlands with spectacular views to the South Downs.

A hard tennis court in the orchard is available to all the guests. In summer you can laze by the secluded wisteria-shaded swimming pool with its pool house in the corner of the garden.

The accommodation comprises three twin/double bedded rooms. One room is with en-suite bathroom, one with en-suite shower room and one with large private bathroom.

All rooms are extremely quiet with lovely views and all individually decorated in typical country house style. The beds are very comfortable with old-fashioned Irish linen and Egyptian cotton sheets with wool blankets.
